Typically when I RP – I am the cub, rarely ever do I RP as the adult….

And usually I tend to stick within the age ranges of 11 to 16.

I mean, I guess I could be persuaded to RP lower, but it would take some convincing.

I do not typically veer into “babyfur” territory either, again, that would take some convincing.

And as for “why” I like Cub? It’s a cathartic form of age regressing that helps me vent certain

feelings and memories in a safe, non-destructive way… some folks judge it too harshly, but

from my perspective, I am not hurting anyone… fiction is fiction, after all.

From a purely aesthetic view — Cub characters are just CUTER… they look nicer

to me than some ultra-buff muscle jock, or a generic plain adult character…

As mych as I should say Super Nintendo, I may have to say PlayStation 1.

While I was fortunate enough to play many of the smash hits, a few did manage to be rereleased onto the condole with a few additional features, like animated cutscenes. This tiny bit of mixed media set my imagination ablaze, and was when I looked towards games to tell more fantastic stories than all the books I was reading at the time.

Summer camp, creepy adults, ruined vacations and occasional wizards…? That’s nice, but there’s this game with a talking dragon, a time traveling swordsman, dimension hopping teenagers, zombie apocalypses…

Final Fantasy 3us/6jp, Chrono Trigger & Super Mario RPG are all in my top 5 fave games of all time and they’re all on the Super NES 😎

Later on, during the 64-bit era, probably Chrono Trigger. It was rereleased on the PlayStation as a pair of anthology collections. I forget which game it was bundled with, but it was probably Final Fantasy V. Anyways, what an incredible story! The idea of going through time to gather strong friends to prevent an apocalypse was almost overwhelming for my tiny brain.

And then Chrono Cross came out, and… my disappointment was immeasurable.

I’ve lately picked up the remakes of the ____ of Mana series and I’m loving the characters and their interactions with one another.

Those message boards get bored and need people to find an manipulate, either by promoting harassment of people who have used the internet as a creative or stress-related outlet, or by leveraging their numbers to mob and banish those they deem unworthy of existence.

As for the Nzi symbolism, it is partly because of shock value and partly from some users aligning their morality with them. It’s always “just a joke” or “ironic” or “for the llz.” It’s bot always a joke, however, and it’s difficult to determine if it is because of their nature of anonymity and lack of accountability for anything they do.

I find their stalking of certain people on the internet and their obsession with documenting their behavior and activities worrying, I hope they mature some day and understand they’re hardcore creeps.

Rocket Knight / Sparkster is fantastic, but I gotta say that the Genesis version is far superior to the SNES version, and I do not say that often when a game is ported onto two competing systems!

I had Stepmania on mine and connected DDR pads to it, lol.

This is blatant Master System erasure, but Genesis/Mega did have Rocket Knight Adventures (and Tails so it wins by default)

for me practically anything with cubs is hot! teens are hot too but cubs just make me melt inside~

i like both being the cub and the one with the cub almost equally, it depends!

For me it’s pretty much all… Depends on my mood. My favorite definitely has an age of power gap.

Diddy Kong. Up to today, my favorite fiction character. In the original DKC1, I like his looks and personality. I wish him the best of luck with Dixie.

SNES made me furry with its DKC1.

A friend of mine way way back had somehow hacked his oldskool generation 1 Xbox to be able to play NES, SNES and Genesis emulators… albeit, not fantastically… but still….

Xbox… But hear me out! It was the first gaming console I chose and bought for myself at age 16 I think and it was the first console with built-in Ethernet so when Xbox Live came out, only people with broadband could play. This was my first time being able to play games online without it being a horrible experience.

It also was the easiest console to mod and upgrade the hard drive. You could copy game discs directly to the hard drive too. I remember websites that would tell you trailer and logo files you could remove from the game files to keep the installs thin.

I also made it into a media center to play music and movies.

So yeah… My favorite but not really due to games but due to the versatility of the hardware.

As for who were my first “Cub Crushes?”

In order — Buster Bunny from Tiny Toons, Kit Cloudkicker from Talespin, Tails the Fox from Sonic SatAm, Skippy Squirrel from Animaniacs, and later on when Disney Channel’s Toon Disney would air late night re-runs of the 1986 Care Bears cartoon I had a… strange fascination with Hugs n’ Tugs… I thought they were kinda cute.

That theme tune still bangs!

FUGA is a fav, but it feels too recent. I was scared to play the first one, thinking that Malt was scripted to sacrifice himself. It was such an intense playthrough, as I loved them all and didn’t want to lose them. Jin stole my heart though and his feud with Britz I was living for that ship!! So hot and I loved their chemistry.

My first furry cub crush I think was either Mamoru-kun or Kit Cloudkicker. Also Simba which .. not very original but yes. Even when I was a little boy, seeing Nala and Simba wrestle made my peepee tickle.

i think the first character i really had a crush on was elh melizee from solatorobo, and then i fell in love with klonoa, panashe, and mamoru-kun!

and currently i have a massive crush on a lot of the characters from fuga: melodies of steel :>

i really don’t know how little tail bronx has such cute character designs but i’ve fallen in love with so many of it’s characters that it’s ridiculous, even the kemono characters from cyberconnect2’s other projects like full bokko heroes are soO CUTE

there’s a couple more underrated characters i like too like rurimaru from shinrabansho, nap zack from tail tale, and cane from fairy musketeers :3c

Bluesky isn’t a federated network. It was supposed to be but they never released the hosting suite so its centralized.
