"Purging the Fandom" won't save us...

Getting rid of Cub, Feral, Babyfur, blah blah blah, X-Y-Z ….. – it will not make one bit of difference. Because regardless of what you do or don’t draw… (or have commissioned for you)…. regardless of who among your own flock you attack…

The bottom line is they HATE furries, not just some – ALL…

That’s just always been a fact since the days of Something Awful and Portal of Evil.
All these troll groups don’t actually give a shit about what you do or don’t draw.
They just want any excuse to hate you and go after you!!!!

I wholeheartedly believe that 4chan and KF take delight in watching us in-fight amongst ourselves over shit that doesn’t actually matter (like cartoon drawings). Seeing us argue and beat down on each other over ridiculous petty bullshit makes them smile.

I 100% believe that 4chan and KF have always been playing a “subterfuge game” with us – they plant these little seeds of division to make our unity less strong. They WANT us fighting amongst ourselves over drawings or plushies or this or that.

They’re like a little Devil whispering in our ear saying:
“Oooooh, you should totally GET that person, they’re not like you!”

It distracts us from the TRUE enemy… so they can do more damage. Well, I for one refuse to participate – I don’t have any desire or reason to go attacking Other Furries because of what they draw or because of what they put into a Story… it’s all fiction anyhow… so it really doesn’t matter to me.

“Making The Fandom Look Good To Outside Observers” was never really a primary concern of mine… Normies and Trolls do not understand Furry, they don’t know what it is, or WHY it is… they just see “degeneracy.”

They just see something weird and abnormal to attack for a quick laugh.

And that’s just always going to be the case…

That’s just how things are fated to be…

We shouldn’t be thinking about “Ways To Please The Normies & Trolls” because that’s an impossible goal, like Sisyphus trying to roll the boulder up the hill. We will never succeed in making Non Furries NOT hate us!!!

They are always going to have SOME reason to hate us, because we are a predominantly LGBT community full of proud and out FREAKS – with weird kinks and weird interests and weird hobbies… Our abnormality, our strangeness – scares them…
They see us as a disease to be “treated.”

4chan and Kiwi Farms frequently use N*zi related language and references… And I wonder why that is??? Why do they make constant joke references to “Zyklon B?” or the purity cult of Eugenics?

They see us as sub-human, they see as as a blight on society… but are the 4chan and KF users “perfect” themselves? I fucking doubt it…

I think they act this way because A) they hate themselves for being just as weird and autistic and as abnormal as we are, and B) they were bullied – and becoming the bully gives them some sense of control…

Kicking dirt on another group of people allows them to forget about THEIR OWN FLAWS & SHORTCOMINGS… and temporarily feel less shitty about themselves….

Anyway, sorry for ranting again….

I just wish the Furry Fandom could go back to being a tightly knit loving peaceful community that uplifts each other and celebrates each others’ weirdness, rather than a “Nonstop Purity Contest” that tries WAAAAY too fucking hard to appease people who are just going to hate us anyway, regardless of what we do…

Fiction is Fiction. Getting rid of Fiction won’t clean up the Real World.

You cannot simply BAN THINGS IN FICTION and expect it to magically make the Real World not suck.

That’s just NOT how things work… banning Breaking Bad from TV won’t magically get rid of the drugs issue in the Real World….

I still think this is a run for popularity, acceptance and validation. They need people to attack in order to appear to be righteous. Another enemy will be fabricated every time one enemy is defeated. This is never going to stop, unless people actually get a life and try to make themselves look virtuous by doing real virtuous things. Those people are losers who can’t raise their self-esteem without resorting to bashing others.

Those message boards get bored and need people to find an manipulate, either by promoting harassment of people who have used the internet as a creative or stress-related outlet, or by leveraging their numbers to mob and banish those they deem unworthy of existence.

As for the Nzi symbolism, it is partly because of shock value and partly from some users aligning their morality with them. It’s always “just a joke” or “ironic” or “for the llz.” It’s bot always a joke, however, and it’s difficult to determine if it is because of their nature of anonymity and lack of accountability for anything they do.

I find their stalking of certain people on the internet and their obsession with documenting their behavior and activities worrying, I hope they mature some day and understand they’re hardcore creeps.
