I’d like to offer that for the most part the proliferation of [color]_[clothing item] tags favored by e621 is unnecessary.
Currently we are following their lead except that for the most part we’re not using any tag of the form [qualifer]+[clothing category].
What’s the feeling on reversing this relation and slashing at the number of colored_X tags? We could consolidate all of “red shirt”/“red t-shirt”/“red tank top”/“red hoodie”/“red sweatshirt” etc. into the currently aliased “red topwear”.
(the categories, as far as I know, are headwear, eyewear, neckwear, topwear, armwear, handwear, bottomwear, footwear, underwear and swimwear)

fwiw, I’m just really diligent about tagging (especially OCs), and it just scratches my autistic brain with classification. As long as you got the basics down, you’ll be fine. Going through the tabs below the tagging text field will get you half way there already.
God knows I keep forgetting to tag for art style, but it’s not exactly the most important set of tags lol.

This is the first time I truly interact with a site like this, usually I follow the meaning of my username so I just look at the pictures. So this is also the first time I’ve tried uploading images.
I have to say, I respect uploaders even more now! Every time I upload an image, I’m thinking that I did a good enough job, and then Dillocircus comes around for mod approval and shows me like twenty other tags I hadn’t even thought about! I do assume that you get better and go faster the longer you continue uploading images and the more experienced you are with the site’s tagging guidelines, but still! (I don’t know how e621 hypertaggers do it though)
Anyway I’ll continue to try improving at tagging, and to upload in general from time to time. Lots of love to other uploaders, especially Dillocircus for the time being ^^

Okay, it might have been the new user limit kicking in after all, I tried putting one of the aforementioned images in the reverse search and it worked now. Sorry for the bother if that is indeed the case.

I was trying to upload other images from E621, but when clicking Fetch there’s an error reading “Failed to retrieve image from API”. At first I thought it was because I’ve already uploaded 5 images as a new user, but it also fails on the reverse search (that may still be the cause of the issue I suppose though).
Then I tried fetching the same images from Inkbunny but this time the error message was blank, it was just the orange bar but empty.
By the way the FAQ does say to go to a Bug Report thread for problems like this but this doesn’t seem to exist or be accessible so I figured I’d post here instead.

I see. I just changed my avatar to a NSFW one, but I’ll revert to a safer one if it does become an issue down the line, just let me know and I’ll do that.

I am just a mod (for reasons, @Pup, the site owner, hasn’t been around for a long time), but I for one am not going to do anything, unless there is extreme fetish content in the avatar.

I think it was just kind of always around for me, in weird now-forgotten cartoons and comics. I think the first explicitly child-like characters that really made me go bananas were the Tiny Toons, but i’ve probably forgot something from earlier.

I saw a topic about favorite cubs, but what was/were the cub(s) that made you consciously go “Oh I might be into cubs/cub art”? It doesn’t have to be about the NSFW side, but I won’t hide that it is the case for me.
I am a “late bloomer” probably, I only had that realisation with Tulin from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (so only 2023!), he’s just so adorable, and he follows you around for most of the game even if it’s in a spirit form, so I had ample time to look at him. Since then, I’ve kinda fallen into the rabbithole, though I like to think I am a fan of most ages in gay-oriented furry content.
Funnily enough, I think my furry realisation was also Kass from Breath of the Wild haha. Maybe I just have a thing for avian designs.

Default search

If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization, wings, and spread wings would all be found by a search for wing, but sewing would not be.
