Toontown Online was a free-to-play Disney MMORPG where players controlled toons (cartoon animals) and fought cogs (robots) that were trying to take over Toontown. They used gags to attack and stun cogs and heal other toons. Because this was a MMORPG, some tasks were difficult to impossible to complete solo.
I found out about the game way too late, it had already been shut down in 2013… which is probably a good thing, because since then the fans made various revivals, and they’re completely free. IMO the only ones worth mentioning are Toontown Rewritten and Toontown: Corporate Clash. TTR mostly aims to replicate the original experience, while TTCC has a new taskline, leveling system, new gag track, reworked gags, new cog type, and many other changes and additions.
I think tag toontown online is sufficient, even if it may not be factually correct in some cases: some fanart shows species and characters who didn’t exist in the original game, e.g. bats and deer. TTCC team is also working on properly animated toon heads with a system that would allow players to mix and match head parts, though that was teased in 2023 and there’s still no ETA for this update.
I’ve also been thinking: animals in TT have no tails, which kinda bothers me. If an animal is expected to have a visible tail but doesn’t (especially when they show off their butt to you), do you think such cases should be tagged with no tail or something similar?

Seeing how oc has been made an error tag recently, I noticed it appears automatically when you tag an OC, but it’s (apparently) not actually implied by anything, which is weird, and you always to have to remove it manually.

human-like feet on species that aren’t human or humanoid, especially when like half of the canvas is occupied by feet.
In theory the latter is filtered off with “foot focus” (though I have no idea how prevalent that tag is on cutepa.ws for images that you want to aviod).

Fair enough…
I wondered about “non-mammalian nipples” as well. I think most people don’t give a shit about non-mammals having nipples.
The fingers thing makes me think, I hope the finger count and toe count tags stay, because… I don’t how common this is, but I have a pet peeve with human-like feet on species that aren’t human or humanoid, especially when like half of the canvas is occupied by feet.

I’ve reversed on soiled diapers (though I’ll ask Pup to properly rule on that)
You reversed on diapers in general. Used diapers definitely fall under Grotesque for obvious reasons.
I just hope there won’t be any more staff-made rating tag conflicts that would cripple regular users.

foreskin tug -> foreskin
humanoid penis -> humanoid genitalia
spread anus -> anus
spread vulva -> vulva
done
I noticed cocklet is defined as a small humanoid penis, however I’ve seen some penises under this tag that don’t look humanoid but more like a tapering penis, with no glans.
It had “small penis” aliased to it before I came in. So no, it’s just all small penii regardless of anatomical type.
raised tail, tail grab -> tail
If someone does it, it won’t be me. Hell, I’d rather remove all implications and make the tag invalid! IMO “tail” (or any other basic anatomical tags like “legs”, “eyes” or “fingers”) is used in a completely pointless way on e621, and by extension other boorus. There’s no reason to tag for features that are gonna be in the vast majority of images that happen to show the relevant section of the body. There’s a reason we don’t tag stuff as “character present” or “drawn art”: it’s part of the very medium!
Now tagging for the unexpected absence or presence of a feature is far more useful with tags like , though even there I think e61 goes WAY overboard with stuff like “non-mammalian nipples”.

I can’t distinguish between Nude Only and Explicit when there are naked characters with no sexual activity.
I agree the guidelines could stand to be more specific (and it is a major point I intend to bring up to pup if and when he reappears). My approach is for the most part, tag with “nude only” for casual nudity and stuff like accidental/innocent exposures or peeks etc. If there’s anything else besides the nudity/erection that would otherwise prevent a safe rating (e.g. precum, ogling, blatant bedroom eyes, a direct offer/invitation for sex, discarded sex toys, off-screen sex happening etc.), tag with explicit.
Grotesque turns out to be broader than it’s defined.
Admittedly I’ve thrown a few things in there that I maybe shouldn’t have:
  • I’ve reversed on soiled diapers (though I’ll ask Pup to properly rule on that)
  • I have added cock vore, but it turns out there was some of it before (I thought there wasn’t, yes I’m a dumbass) and it wasn’t tagged, so I’ll reverse on that too, even though I think it should be in there.
Ultimately, IMO, it’d be less work to have an overarching “body waste” tag that anyone can filter off easily rather than use this awkward and vague term
Grimdark is left open to interpretation.
Hell, it’s awfully vague everywhere else as far as I can tell. Again, I’d rather have a tag called “gore and body horror” rather than this stuff, which for all I know would encompass suicidal thoughts or fascist imagery! Note that candy gore is pretty clearly not grimdark, but should probably be encompassed by something.

The Tag Guidelines REALLY need to be revised. For the most part they’re just copied from Furbooru, but things here don’t work the same way. I can’t distinguish between Nude Only and Explicit when there are naked characters with no sexual activity. Grotesque turns out to be broader than it’s defined. Grimdark is left open to interpretation.

I noticed my director tag is now listed in my profile even though I never requested its verification, which surprised me, but OK.
I also noticed that if one browses the Recent Artwork section in my profile, it returns results for both the artist and the director tags. I knew about the || / OR thing, but I never thought this was technically possible.
That’s me taking the initiative when I noticed you were also generating stuff.

What purpose does the tag e621 dnp serve? I know E621 has a DNP list of its own, but in the context of posting to Cutepa.ws it’s irrelevant.

This is oddly specific, so I won’t be surprised if this gets ignored for a long time. But I’ve been thinking about it for a while.
In the Worms series, the concept of gender is mostly to completely irrelevant. When you create a team of worms, you can name them anything you want, and mix and match voices and visual customisation items however you please. Depending on the game you may have access to soundbanks that sound gender-neutral/feminine/masculine, “feminine” items (particularly hair styled in ways typically associated with women) and “masculine” items (particularly facial hair). Depending on the selected voice worms may use gendered terms to refer to other worms. However there’s no option to select gender, and worms don’t really have sexual dimorphism. In Worms Rumble you play as a single nameless worm, but customisation is the same.
There are canon characters with established genders, but they’re typically not fleshed out and ignored by the fanbase anyway. IMO the only character to stand out is Professor Worminkle from Worms 4 Mayhem.
When I post my own Worms art here and on DA/FA/IB/Aethy, I typically label the worms as male, unless they look stereotypically feminine or have visible female body parts.
On E621 I only repost other’s art (with the exception of 1 drawing, for now..?) and I tag it as “ambiguous_gender” unless there’s sexual dimorphism present, which is due to the rules over there. When I recently joined Furbooru, I decided to carry over E621’s tagging criteria.
Sometimes I wonder if I should change my tagging approach here to what I do on E621/Furbooru.
Also I have a Neocities site were I post worms I drew and generated, I considered linking to it as a source, but with the way it’s structured the best thing I could do would be using direct image links, which is frowned upon..?
Speaking of scores, downvotes are disabled on Manebooru, another Philomena-based Booru. I just thought it was interesting.
This may sound cringe, but I proposed the idea of a Worms Booru to someone, and I actually felt excited talking about it, until they said I’d be the one paying for it. So that’s not happening.

I think some people are too fast on the -1. I very rarely do it myself, on account of different strokes for different folks. I give +1 or none (but to be honest I haven’t done much of that on CutePaws. Possibly because I feel it might make me look biased.)
