“Chibi” is just a way of drawing a character where you give them a bigger head, simplified features and overall cuter look. It has no connection to age at all: you can take an unambiguously adult character, like a male with muscles and facial hair or female with prominent breasts and thighs, and you can draw them as a chibi while still making it clear they’re NOT underage.
“Chibi” is the official style of the Littlest Pet Shop franchise. Most characters are technically NOT cubs, they’re just drawn in a cutesy way that may make them appear young. There also were multiple animated series (I can name 4) with some variety in art style, but we can ignore the LPS show from 1995 because the main cast of pets are obviously neither chibi nor cubs, they’re just miniature like a toy / figurine you’d put on your shelf.
I guess “chibi” is also the official style of Happy Tree Friends (with Lumpy being an exception), and the characters, while being anthro, aren’t depicted with any physical traits that would indicate adulthood. However, most characters here are also NOT cubs, as evidenced by Pop (father) and an actual cub named… Cub (his son). Although if I were to draw style-accurate NSFW art of them, I probably wouldn’t risk posting it to a normie website, they might just equate it to CSAM, and I don’t wanna go through this shit again. I don’t even like this franchise, I just want to contribute something that has little to no presence here.
G3.5 and Pony Life (sometimes called “G4.5” by fans) may be considered the “chibi” approaches to My Little Pony. Both have this “bobblehead” look to them. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo in G3.5 are canonically younger than the rest of Core 7. G3.5 also includes baby depictions of the Core 7, but most people don’t like that, even I find the toys and some cartoon expressions to be unintentionally creepy.
With the overall theming of this site, I assume chibis MAY be relevant if they don’t have adult features, or they fall under “femboy” or “babyfur”. Does it mean things like this are not relevant? This is obviously a chibi, but she has boobs, which goes against the “cub” theme, and she doesn’t fit any other criteria.
If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization
, wings
, and spread wings
would all be found by a search for wing
, but sewing
would not be.
