I want to use the same engine to make a booru for feral furs as that’s being cracked down on now. Some sites are restricting anthro x feral art (if the anthro is too humanoid), saying it promotes bestiality. What’s next… No knots on anthros? Well that’s what Patreon is saying! No animal genitalia.
I personally would love to see it so I probably will anyways but I’m just gauging interest.

If you art that contains themes you don’t like or you can’t legally view it in your jurisdiction, you should add the appropriate tag to your filter. Do not post comments complaining about the content.
I’ve seen a pattern of a few people complaining that there’s girls on this site, humans on the site, adults on the site, etc. Our purpose is to be lenient in what is allowed here due to the restrictive nature of other boorus. This is why we have filters. Many of our filters are common defaults that you should utilize.
If you post a comment complaining about the content or kink of an image, it will likely get deleted. If it keeps up, your account may get restricted. We don’t believe in banning accounts, but we can make it so you can’t comment, vote, upload, etc. and that’s no fun!
Unlike other boorus that ban all negativity and even “creepy” comments, we think that’s stupid. This is an adult site for adults. If you want to post 4 paragraphs about how you want to fuck someone’s OC, that’s okay if the image is sexual in nature. (Obviously keep comments SFW on SFW images).
If you want to critique the art or playfully tease it, that’s fine too. For anything else, see Rule #0 PLUR.
If you think an image goes against our site rules, report it.
This should go without saying but just don’t comment. If you regularly report content that is within our rules, you may get restricted. Because it’s not to your taste doesn’t mean it violates our rules.
Do not use downvotes or the report feature on themes you don’t like.
Explained above, but on down voting… That’s for rating the quality of the art not if it’s your kink or not. Please utilize our amazing filtering and blacklist system so stuff you hate isn’t even shown to you.
My favorite way to restrict is forcing a filter on someone. This is done if they regularly complain about content, down vote content, or it’s clear they don’t quite understand who owns this site. We assume that a user is incapable of understanding our filter system so we help them out.

this ones actually a great example https://cubfur.gay/images/6226the low resolution and aliased brushes noriburu uses in their art is an intentional choice, upscaling it completely destroys the original look of the image by making it adopt a more traditional pen-like lineart
It’s not using specific non-aliased brushes… It’s using a free, Flash-based oekaki 15+ years ago.
If the artist requests, I’ll delete it.

and the lineart isn’t even consistent to what someone drawing would pens would do, there’s lots of “stepping” around the round corners due to the intentional stylistic decisions of the original image. especially around his cheek! to me it doesn’t look good at all

honestly i’m for the %shitty% original versions being saved alongside the upscaled versions if possible
for what its worth i don’t know anything about your process for enhancing images or how refined it is, though i generally have had a good experience with free AI models when upscaling artwork myself for personal use, so i’m not against upscaling as a concept (keeping in mind the limits of the technology)
i just mainly feel like entirely replacing a source image with a modified one hurts the booru as an archive, sure there’s some low-res art that are literally just crunched up .jpgs that got tossed around the internet too much, but there’s also art that could be deliberately made at a lower resolution. would it be a good idea to upscale and entirely replace something like that?
personally i dont think so
but if source images can stay then upscale all the images you want tbh, i’ll admit me calling for disallowing them is a bit much if we can just have both
and if anything, keeping the originals around also has the benefit of allowing for better upscaling in the future as software keeps improving

i get the point of them, but ultimately i don’t feel like they fit the context of an art archival site
they waste bandwidth and they introduce way too much artifacts to the images they were used on, causing smaller details to looks very mushy and vague
I really don’t agree on any of these accounts.
its not really an “enhancement”, it’s like sharpening a blurry image in photoshop! it looks better from far away but as soon as you zoom in you’ll see tons of artifacts that permanently lose information of the original image.
If an image is saved at 40% jpeg at 600 pixels, you can’t really make it worse. I think it far improves the quality.
and besides, the tools for upscaling artwork are widely available and free, if anyone wants an upscaled image there’s a good chance they’ll be able to make their own. there’s even sites like https://waifu2x.booru.pics/
And they suck. I use professional enlargement software that isn’t free and works far better. I also will manually edit the image in some cases.
what do you guys think?
An argument could be made that the original shitty version be saved too, but of course on this site we do link the source.
But as I own the site I likely won’t change the policy on allowing AI enhanced images.

Smart choice, especially since e621 recently banned all Young Human artwork,
and InkBunny’s policy was always “we don’t allow it, just cub” from the very beginning.

Make this the next safe haven for cub. Allowing every type of art would attract pressure to ban cub, as many general furry artists are strongly against cub.
I would shut down this site before banning cub, which e621 is close to doing. I do recommend furbooru.org for adult furry art as they use Philomena like we do.
I’ve decided to allow adults if they match one of these.
- Drawn by an artist who regularly draws cub.
- A cub is present in the image.
- The adult could be an older teen, such as femboys, twinks, etc.

So just to make double sure –– Human Alone is a No Post, but Human x Furry is fine, correct?
There’s an old old old Aogami comic where an anthro fox and an anthro wolf babysit two human boys.

With the new e621 rules banning Humans entirely, that comic is probably long gone…
And also, since Ink Bunny never allowed humans on their website in the first place, it would be very unlikely that I could use the nice archive at “I Watch It For The Plot” to re-find that comic….

Odd… try another browser or try it in private/ghost mode in the browser. Also, if you could bring up the console in developer mode and paste that here, it would help. Right now I don’t have much to go on.

100% only kemono and chibi. Everything else should just go to ATF, e621 or Equinebooru.
ATF has the worst most outdated booru engine and equinebooru? Yikes
