FNAF character confusion

I know the category is called Shows and Movies, but it feels odd to separate video games, it’s still media discussion. Also there’s an official FNaF movie now, though I haven’t seen it.
. . .
The games have shown several different versions of Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy, and most versions are distinct enough. But then there are the withered animatronics (FNaF2), which are just older, broken versions of the classic animatronics (FNaF1), which makes me question if they would need their own tags if they were to appear here. Although I imagine the chances are pretty low, especially with Withered Bonnie, they tore his face off.
Also, while looking through FNAF fanart, I realised Mangle/Toy Foxy (FNaF2) and Funtime Foxy (Sister Location) may be impossible to distinguish when drawn as organic foxes instead of animatronics if there’s not enough context, because they’re both white with pink countershading, yellow eyes and a red bowtie. It also doesn’t help that the FNaF World version of Funtime Foxy looks more like a “fixed” Mangle/Toy Foxy than Funtime Foxy’s actual design (which has plated casing, a loudspeaker in the chest and no hook hand).
There’s also discourse on whether Golden Freddy and Fredbear should be considered the same character, but it seems to have to do with lore and I sadly don’t care enough to research that (especially with the official books, I’m not the reading type). Maybe I should just avoid posting art related to him/them so I don’t have to think about it.
Springtrap and Spring Bonnie are a much simpler case. Spring Bonnie is a yellow rabbit springlock suit animatronic, it could perform on its own like a robot, but it could also be worn as a suit by an adult man, but it was hazardous. Springtrap is an undead entity: a decayed Spring Bonnie that one day malfunctioned and impaled the serial murderer William Afthon who was wearing it, his corpse is still inside and his soul is possessing the animatronic. While playing YT videos discussing FNaF lore in the background, I heard something about William wanting to be immortal. Well, I suppose he got what he wanted?

Are robots portraying animals not considered furry on this site anymore? Is the term “furry” now only applicable to organic beings?
Mostly unrelated but I feel like talking about this, I’ve been sharing Worms art on E621 and a few things happened:
  • a worm parody of the Sailor Moon meme was taken down because it was “human only” (this is the same website that deems essentially human species like kemonomimis and Hylians relevant, the hypocrisy is astounding)
  • someone tagged some pictures as “not furry”, even though worms are LITERALLY ANIMALS who also seem to fit their definition of “feral”
  • I found the score system in the context of Worms art is completely meaningless: effort/quality doesn’t matter, but crossovers and boobs do.

The “not furry” content is not forbidden. I just had overlooked the guidelines as they are written:

Franchise and content tags

not furry
The “not furry” tag is for images that do not directly contain furry content. This tag must be placed on all images that feature:
  • Non-furry images in furry settings/series, like a page of a comic about furry character and a human that only shows the human.
  • Non-furry anthropomorphic content, such as robots, sapient objects, or most types of aliens.
  • Furry adjacent/derived content, such as humanizations of furry characters or non-furry representations.
And I went on a spree to tag them. You’ll note I made it a rating tag, not a red “error” tag, which is how it’s shown on the tag guidelines. I’ll leave it like that at least until I can confirm with Pup how to word it so it’s clear that the content is okay despite the big scary red tag.
There’s probably some argument as to what EXACTLY is “furry content”, tbh. I was assuming that a human wearing a fursuit is clearly “furry content”, but apparently not judging by how previous stuff was tagged, so I may have overtagged. I will be happy to correct this if/when pup returns, but right now I can only make guesses based off what existed before… and there was something like three FNAF images on the site before you went hogwild on that.

The funny thing about me sharing FNaF art and making this thread is that I haven’t even played the games besides a FNaF2 demo (?) for a bit, because I don’t really want to play horror games.
I noticed the name “Helpi” being used for what appears to be the Security Breach version of Helpy (who originally appeared in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator), and on the Fandom Wiki Helpy and Helpi have separate pages, but I’m honestly not familiar with SB enough to do anything about it. I just thought Helpy was the most fitting character in the franchise for this site because he is chibi.
