I have been demoted. I do not know if there is any active mod

I do not know why or whether Pup or Galener is responsible. This is quite annoying as I was doing some cleanup of tags just this morning.

I have no idea if there is any mod active whatsoever now.

Mavy was the only staff member besides you I ever conversed with.

just to be clear: no mod means no one is able to switch tags into species/copyright/character ones, or create aliases and implications.

Someone has tried to friend me on discord with no connection whatsoever. I can be direct messaged by anyone (although since Pup doesn’t use Discod I didn’t give him my info, as I recall..). They had this disabled. I have not accepted the friend request. If this is about Cutepaws/Cubfurs, just message me directly 🙄

Hey, sorry for late seeing this. I have had a few very busy days at work so didn’t see this until now. So I asked about this for you and Pup said that he demoted you to Assistant. Assistant can help with tagging he said but he said he demoted you because you never activated 2FA like he told you to and he said rules weren’t being followed. If you have any questions I can pass them onto him since he isn’t really taking messages from people while he deals with some health issues.

I thought I had hashed it out with him and it was okay (I can show you the conversation if you want). The 2FA page literally wouldn’t work when I tried even though I installed a dedicated app on my cell phone just for it.

As for the rules, I would have LOVED to have a chance to ask him if he had been around 🙄. I was basically a toddler being put in charge and trying to make decisions, but I’m a) on the autism spectrum and b) not Pup, so I can only try to the best of my abilities.

I didn’t think I could judge the worm stuff since Pup told me off for one of my upload, yet didn’t actually delete it. That’s not going to fill me with confidence that I understand the sort of content to be uploaded!!! However, I actually initially told Stinkek to hold off on lolisho stuff precisely because I wasn’t sure how okay it was in general, and then another mod came in (Mavy) and blanket accepted almost all the reports I had been holding back on.

… how? I literally can’t find a single action I can take now that I cannot as a normal user.

Anyway. Since I can’t even help with actually fixing tag issues (of which, given I was the single most prolific user at the time, many are caused by my own typos/forgetting to switch the categories), I’m holding off uploads until further notice.

I am only saying what he said. He was the one that demoted you, not me so I will try and get in contact with him about it but contact it slow with how things are going for him at the moment. He told me Assistant can still tag. But if you can’t see it then I will try and get answers from him.

As someone on the autism spectrum too, I completely understand. I have been almost in a way thrown into this. I have admin experience in forums and such so not fully out of my element but been a while.

I will try and discuss with him about the blanket accepts from Mavy. I am trying my best and want to get us through this but I’m quite lost on things that he has said to others but I don’t know about.

I promise I will try and get this working out. As I said, I just know things he has told me recently but I also know he has a LOT going on IRL and so probably not remembering/thinking clearly. Please bear with me

Sorry if that came off as bitter. It’s just that I’ve been using the site to scratch a longstanding itch because I love tagging and cleanup jobs (was banned from e621 back in 2017 over stupid bullshit despite being a top-100 uploader), but Philomena’s weird quirks (at least when you’re used to danbooru i.e. restricting tag category switches to mods, letting lingering tags stay, allowing tag counters to go up for blacklisted tags…) have been adding a layer of frustration.

I was thinking of fixing the blacklisted tag issue by aliasing them to a “blacklisted tag” error tag, but even that is now out of the question.

Hey, I have had a look through your permissions and ticked things relating to tags and such so I think maybe Pup forgot to add those to you. If you can for me, check and see how you go with tagging because I have enabled manage tags, artist links and manage images to your roles. If you can try it out let me know. I am about to head to bed since past midnight here in Australia for me.

If there are issues, please let me know and I will try and resolve them.

Edit: I have also sent a message to Pup about things and will see how things go. I am trying to see if we can get the rules updated to better accommodate the aspect that he wants.

Dilliocircus has been promoted back to Mod after I talked with Pup and he apologises for the misunderstanding. Things have been hectic for him
