Is this thread still in use?

I noticed some tags related to colouration are not retained, though I saw some older uploads having them. It caught me off guard. Are they not allowed because they're considered redundant here?
On Furbooru I found the tag **invalid tag**, which gets "undesirable" tags aliased to it, usually ones that are useless, redundant or derogatory.

I do agree E621's tags are overly complicated. Just reading what's been copied when fetching gives me a headache.
