Don't assume another person has the full context of your situations and conditions.
And try not to blame that other person for not knowing things they were not first told.
Also, learn to take a joke -- I hate smart phones, I hate that we are all addicted to having them on us at all times -- I make a point that when I am going somewhere like the grocery store up the road, I don't bring the phone, just an old CD Player and some Earbuds. I keep my eyes ahead of me, not glued to a screen, so I can yell at the cars that almost hit me at the crosswalk lights... people who drive never think about the pedestrian that's trying to cross when they've got the White Light giving them the right-of-way.
