Here’s a proposal for this family of tags that have always been a bit of a hot mess on e621:
- A’s hand on A’s body: “holding X” or “hand on X” (depending on exact action)
- A’s hand on B’s body: “X grab” or “touching X” (for the same two actions)
Grab vs. holding is already supposed to be the distinction on e621, and the wording works okay. “Hand on” vs. “touching” is a little artificial, but has the advantage of completely sidestepping the “own/another” split.
Other types of tags with similar distinctions (e.g. “finger in mouth”) are not concerned by this proposal.
