The nature of the Penumbra infection is that it destroys, and the most obvious loss is that of one’s memories– Though there are ways to prevent it, like Gleam’s particular case. As the new Queen of The Umbral Tide, she protected her pack with every ounce of her strength… So, when encountering an older, leaderless strain of the infection, it’s her natural impulse to [b]devour[/b] it. …But it didn’t go down easily.

The rest of the players thought that losing the names of her entire family and all her closest pack members wasn’t much of a downside, but they don’t quite understand just how important Names are to a creature as fae-touched as Gleam…
