Nah, you have to first tag something using the image edit/upload before the tag can be used for *anything* else (including e.g. aliasing to and from, implying to, and the mass tagging tool). It's a pain in the ass, and Idwon'tuld sratheer any reason to do it unless/until incorrect usages start actually showing up in imports. 😅
