200% confused
There's a common confusion between these two plants associated with Christmas. I'm a loner, not superstitious and I don't do the "kiss under mistletoe" thing, but the confusion is cleared up with a quick Google search.
Mistletoe has WHITE berries and SMOOTH leaves. This is the plant to kiss under.
Holly has RED berries and POINTY leaves.
Also, I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the *Asterix* franchise, but mistletoe is one of the ingredients of the super-strength potion.
The reason I bring this up is because I noticed a few pictures here confusing these plants as well.
