Long story short one of the player characters let slip to MAGNAMON that we had the digivice, he tried to take it from us, but Alt was one step ahead of the rest of the game and had sleigh of handed it off Gleam earlier that afternoon and hidden it. He told Magnamon to his face that he’d done it, and since he’s one of the heads of the assassin village… He also told him to his face that he was trained to resist all forms of torture, so good luck getting it out of him.

So, Magnamon kidnapped our fox.

The party was not happy about this.

We ended up having to skip an entire town worth of plot to literally run a train straight to Rainframe, alerting every high up ally we had in the process to get them to forestall any torture or execution for as us much as they could.

We get there, a lot happens, and at the end of a very long discussion with Lady Lamb, the Ophanimon, we ask for our fox back, and…

He escaped their prison that morning, leaving an unconscious guard, the guards weapon, and a whole lot of unallocated data, which is USUALLY what gets left behind when a digimon dies.
